The SEWAOHN organization is made up of occupational
health nurses and affiliate members who work in or are interested in the field of worker health, wellness, and safety.
We are affiliated with both the Wisconsin State
Association of Occupational Health Nurses, and the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN).
Members
of SEWAOHN work in a variety of settings, including manufacturing, health care, transportation, service industries, and
government. Injury/illness prevention and treatment, case management (including workers' compensation), wellness promotion,
safety, ergonomics, biological monitoring, and loss control are some of the roles that occupational health nurses take on
in these work environments.
